Agile Data Standards Development
On March 26, 2007, STAR particpated in the CEIS 2007 Workshop. STAR data architects submitted a paper on the challenges facing implementors of standards, and some reasons for the various one-off implementations that implementors need. The paper addresses the challenges that the STAR membership faced two years ago and ways in which STAR was able to adopt Agile Development principles and techniques to improve the development process, and meet the memberships needs sooner rather than later.
